Dive Center & Renovation

The Dive Center is in new

splendor, much has been renovated. Thus, e.g. the entire façade is newly plastered and painted. Our reception has been renovated and a brand-new shop is under construction. New dry boxes and benches were purchased; we painted, sawn, hammered, bricked, painted and concreted.

We are particularly proud of the fact that our compressor room has experienced a profound “facelift” and has been supplemented by further modules!

Aqua – & Snorkel – Center on the way to be a Freediving Academy

Our Aqua & Snorkel Center presents itself in a new look and is lead by Michael Blüthner to our new Freediving Academy!

Michael has completed his instructor training with the well – known apnea champions Umberto Pelizzari and Nik Lindner and has several years of experience as a trainer and instructor with beginners and advanced students.

The fun and the personal experience are at the forefront of his courses, because besides breathing, relaxation is essential for a successful free diver.

His motto is “Everyone can do free diving” (so you also … if you like to give it a try)

We offer: Free Try – Free diving, Basic – and Level 1 courses for beginners and Level 2 courses for experienced free divers.

In addition to the freediving courses, we will offer various workshops and lectures on the subject of freediving, among others.

• Pressure equalization

You have problems with the pressure equalization? Michael will help you with advice and action!

Whether you want to practice free diving as a sport or to relax from everyday life, we have the right course for you.

We offer for scuba divers special courses / workshops with the aim of reducing air consumption and giving you a higher degree of security and self-confidence.

If snorkeling should happen with fun and safety, take a half-day snorkel course.

 

Our Team 2017

Our team for 2017 is almost complete, we got strong reinforcement, especially with the instructors and at the reception.

In addition to the professional qualification, we were particularly important as a prerequisite for the placement of our “new ones” that they spread a good mood and are with the whole heart in the matter. By the way, the whole team is always trained in first aid and behavior in emergencies. Many of our diving instructors have also participated in many interesting additional training courses in the last months.

 

Side Mount Diving

We have expanded our side mount program, instead of only 2 dives, we now offer the course with 3 or optional 4 dives. The first 3 dives are carried out with 2 tanks and the 4th is an optional dive in a mono configuration (with only one tank). You can experience a really new freedom feeling under water.

There are also special equipped tanks to dive side mount. (12 liter Aluminum tanks “Dirty Beast”, left / right valves, hose retainers and rigging kits as tank belt or clamp version.

 

Solo Diving / Independent Diving

Until now, we have not practiced in our program: solo diving. You are a photographer, would like to do a further special training which goes a lot further than regular training or simply observe the fauna and flora of the underwater world without any attention to a buddy?! The training for the Solo Diver is exactly the right thing for you! By the way: Solo divers are with their profound and extensive knowledge coveted buddies!

To complete this course, you need to have 100 logged dives, the AOWD and you must be at least 21 years old. We are looking forward to explaining this new possibility to you at the diving center or via e-mail.

 

Scooter

We bought four additional Scooter („Aquaprop“ ) from the company Bonex.

If you always wanted to feel like James Bond, then let´s go and book your underwater Scooter Speciality! Our new scooter can go 4 km/h and have a maximum battery life of 200 minutes. Attention:  Speed ​​Limit 4 km/h. 😉

 

New Trips

you will find new in our program a new “Early Morning” trip with the bus and the speed boat from Abu Dabab to one of our absolute highlights the “Elphinstone Reef”.
