This gives you an idea of how much life is going on under the sea. Scuba diving has gained in popularity in recent years \u2013 tourism has established a new niche \u2013 dive tourism. Through increased environmental awareness tour operators must comply with stricter regulations to maintain well-preserved and healthy diving areas.<\/p>\n<p>There are many regions in the world where diving is rewarded with incredible views of beautiful fish, coral gardens, caverns, caves, and shipwrecks. We want to make some of them accessible to our guests. All the dive sites are near our dive centre and we can reach them either by minibus and speedboat directly from our dive centre, or by full day boat from Marsa Alam harbour approximately 20min away from our base.<\/p>\n<p>The most popular dive sites are Elphinstone, Habiba Wall, Marsa Assalaya, Abu Dabab, Shaab Marsa Alam and Shaab Samadai \u2013 Dolphin house. It is approximately 25min away by our speedboat. Here you can see the Longimanus\/ Oceanic White tip shark and occasionally Hammerheads sharks in June-July period.<\/p>\n<p>Elphinstone dive is a wall &amp; drift dive with sometimes light or strong currents. \u00a0It has steep cliffs covered by soft coral, sponges, and Gorgonian fan corals. Besides sharks this dive site can offer barracudas, tunas, hawksbill turtles and Napoleon wrasses. For this dive site it is required to have min. 50+ logged dives and Advance certification level. It has a wide sandy beach and large bay surrounded by coral reef from both sides. Due to the sandy, sea grass bottom in the centre of the bay, it is a hot spot for Giant Green turtles.<\/p>\n<p>This place is popular not only for divers, who will enjoy the easy and safe beach entrance, but also for snorkelers, who can watch the turtles from the surface. Abu Dabab offers safe environment and creates prefect conditions also for divers \u2013 beginners, who just finished their Open Water Diver course.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>\n<div  class='hr av-9zuky-1471d9e1e9e367c4918e4aec50b29235 hr-default  avia-builder-el-12  el_after_av_one_full  el_before_av_textblock '><span class='hr-inner '><span class=\"hr-inner-style\"><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-2j0or6-ad79ea6c60bce92d07d3c4a99e63f40e '   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><h2>Equinox \u2013 Dugong Bay (Sea cow)<\/h2>\n<p>Equinox is one of our most popular sites for snorkelling. Here you can see one of the most unique marine animals of the Red sea, called Dugong \u2013 sea cow. Equinox has a sandy sea bottom full of sea grass, which is the main food of a Dugong and Giant Green turtles.<\/p>\n<p>It is 15min away by minibus from our dive centre. We are searching for the Dugong on our speedboat called Blue Shell. The boat provides toilet, shower, and seating area in the shade. The boat crew is there to make sure that you feel comfortable, and you can ask them for water, coffee, tea or soft drinks and snacks<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n<div  class='hr av-3yqrag-aeba48a80411fe650c43de7b1a848bf8 hr-default  avia-builder-el-14  el_after_av_textblock  el_before_av_textblock '><span class='hr-inner '><span class=\"hr-inner-style\"><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-3at4rs-bd9222a20e5ffa0caf0666e72befb5f2 '   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><h2>Shaab Marsa Alam \u2013 Coral Garden<\/h2>\n<p>To the east of Marsa Alam there is a kidney-shaped coral reef called Shaab Marsa Alam. West side of the reef has a sandy bottom with many coral pinnacles and curvy channels through the coral garden. On the other hand, in the north side you can find schools of fish as yellow snappers, groupers, and moray eels.<\/p>\n<p>Barracudas and occasionally tunas are found in the open water, the smaller reef fish are hiding in their caves and holes. The highlight of this dive site is sunken wreck of safari boat. The wooden planks and debris are approximately 10m long with a huge water tank on the top.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n<div  class='hr av-9jvjs-85d1dce6bb7e6bb4391ed7addd296068 hr-default  avia-builder-el-16  el_after_av_textblock  el_before_av_textblock '><span class='hr-inner '><span class=\"hr-inner-style\"><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-2bza2i-471ff8980740837b7cc82e891e7f2b3d '   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><h2>Shaab Samadai &#8211; Dolphin House<\/h2>\n<p>Shaab Samadai is also called Dolphin house due to the huge population of dolphins. It is a full day boat trip, and it starts at 07:45 with return at 17:00.<\/p>\n<p>The transfer from our dive centre takes 25min to the Marsa Alam harbour and then approximately 60min by boat to the reef. It is a horseshoe shaped reef, where you can see schools of spinner or sometimes bottlenose dolphins. It is also a marine park and protected area by HEPCA Egyptian organisation.<\/p>\n<p>The inside of the reef is organised in 3 zones to keep the dolphins safe and protected. This is a great place for divers, who can do 2 dives and enjoy the fresh cooked lunch in Egyptian style. It is also prefect for families with children and snorkelers.<\/p>\n<p>It is required for snorkelers to wear a lifejacket to protect the dolphins from being chased, harassed and stressed. The boat provides toilets, shower, salon for lunch and sunny\/ shady terraces.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Coraya Divers team looks forward to welcome you in our dive
