Become SSI Instructor under perfect conditions!

For the second time this year Coraya Divers in Marsa Alam offers from November 28 to 7 December a SSI Divecon- and Instructor Course in Madinat Coraya. This time Nino Faranda will be assisted by Jürgen “Wössi” Wössner. These two experienced Instructor Trainers are ready  to pass on their knowledge gained over many years to the potential Instructor candidates.

For those who have always wanted to turn their hobby into a profession, Coraya Divers offers the perfect environment to do so, a spectacular house reef, the logistics and a modern equipped dive center.

During the first 6 days the DiveCon portion is taught. Here, dive masters are taught the SSI Education System and teaching methodology. DiveCons who are still a little unsure, can assist in the preparation for the ITC during this time. Additionally, Divemaster Instructors can be trained during this period to DiveCon Instructors.

The next 6 days include the Instructor training portion. This portion is based on the DiveCon course. In 10 lectures you will be familiarized with the SSI Philosophy, the training standards, the diving business and legal aspects. There are also pool and open water lessons and several workshops.

In the last two days the Instructor Examination is scheduled.

Prerequisites:

• At least 18 years of age
• DiveCon or Divemaster certification or equivalent
• At least 100 logged dives
• Have your own diving equipment of a professional level
• Proof in First Aid with CPR and oxygen administration (max. 1 year old)
• Diving medical examination (max. 1 year old)
