Seahorses are master of camouflage, that’s why it´s very difficult to find them. But not for Ahmed our dive guide.
He found a flock of at least 20 of this cute fish in Abu Dabab. The seahorses belong to the Jayakar´s Seahorses (Hippocampus Jayakari) and can reach a size of 15 cm. They are leaving in shallow sheltered reefs from 1 to 82 m depth and are attached on algae or seagrass.
If you want to see this rare creatures, than hurry up and come to Coraya Divers at Brayka Bay and go diving with Ahmed.
