From 11-23 July, Coraya Divers “Family Reunion”

From 11-23 July Coraya Divers in Marsa Alam hosted a large “family reunion” in which important representatives from the diving industry came together.

The management team from Mares and SSI invited Filmmakers, Photographers, Models, Apnoe Divers, and Tek Divers to participate in various workshops and meetings.

The schedule was bursting at the seams. In addition to the revision of the Freedive and Extended Range program standards, several photo opportunities for the new Mares catalog were also on the program. But that’s not all. Two film crews were shooting the new videos for the Freedive and the Extended Range program skills.

A total of 23 representatives were in attendance at Coraya Divers in Marsa Alam, including Mares President Gerald Skrobanek, Robert Stoss (SSI) and Guido Wätzig (SSI), Dusan “Duschko” Runjajic (Mares Sales Director), Stefan Michl (Mares Managing Director), Gianluca Genoni (Apnea World Record Holder), Lotta Ericson (Director Training SSI Freedive), Adam Wood (Training Director SSI XR Program), Andreas Kron (SSI Training Director) and several others.

Due to its size and location, Coraya Divers in Marsa Alam was the perfect place for almost all of the planned activities. Much of the pictures and videos were made in the Coraya Bay. Additionally, the following locations were filmed and/or photographed… Elphinstone, Gorgonia Beach, in Hamata, the wreck in Abu Ghusun, and various desert locations.
